because I like to sew my clothes
What fun! I feel like I'm right beside you on your visit. I've had a thought (always the capitalist). Why don't you and Ann Steeves (Gorgeous Fabrics) get together on a joint venture...you get discount fabrics for her and she pays for part of your trip?
Looks like you are having loads of fun. Can't wait to see the dress out of the glittery fabric!
That looked like fabulous fun....so much to choose from, what was the quality like??
WOW, now that is a fabric store. I cannot even begin to imagine (well maybe a little :) what it would be like to go through such a store. Lucky lucky you :)
Can you let me know by my email exactly where this is. I will be in Seoul in April. Thanks for this post...it has husband very worried!!
I wanna see the buttons!
@Gail, I will contact you. The short answer is to make sure you stay in Itaewon (Eat-A-Won), which is a foreigner-friendly district. Get in to a cab and say "Dong-Day-Mun".They'll know right where to go. DD told me that the bus /subway option is tricky- there are a couple connections required, so the cab is way easier. You can reach me at alittlesewing at gmail dot com. We can discuss in detail
OMG that is so funny! I'm dying to go to Seoul for fabric shopping. Love the back and forth between you and your DD!
What a lovely way to share your visit with us. I enjoyed the video. And was of course impressed with the enormous space of the shop, the choice you have there in fabrics, you must have stayed there a long time! Thanks for sharing.
How fun this must have beenI like the sequined animal print very much
I loved the video and am so jealous of the fabric shopping. Seems to me sometimes that we in North America and the UK are the only areas that have given up on fabric shopping. Such a smart, hip daughter you have, and what adventures our children give us.
Can't wait to see the dress out of the glittery fabric! party video
Thanks for visiting my blog and Happy Sewing, xo
