I love the built-ins. They are circa 1953 and still function well. There were some nasty brass drawer pulls which I replaced yesterday with a more mid-century brushed aluminum style. Now for window treatments...
IKEA has some really cute fabrics that I have my eye on. And lighting. I need better lighting for evening sewing. All in all, things are working!
Thanks everyone for your lovely posts about Laura's graduation. It has been a wonderful time for our family!

Love your sewing nook! It looks so nice and clean!
Super sewing area. Love all the daylight you have and the nice view of the garden. Must be a pleasure to work in.
Beautiful!
Sigh...my sewing nook is known around our family as 'The Cave'...no windows....
I'm trying not to be jealous! ;)
You'll really enjoy sewing in there, I bet!
What an amazing space - the windows are TDF!! I am so jealous - right now, I'm relegated to the basement, beside the washer and dryer. Can I live vicariously through you until I get my own sewing room?
Very nice sewing space! I love the built in drawers :)
SO much space - so CLEAN! Wow!!
What a beautiful room. Those built in shelves and that lovely view are TDF. Thanks for sharing.
Nice space, Robin. Great window and storage. It looks quite comfortable. I envy you the TV and the window, I'm with lisa laree - in THE CAVE. Enjoy!
Oh my! Lisa, Shannon and BeeBee - a cave is just WRONG!
And clean, well... that is temporary!
Looks great, Robin! I love the built-in storage and the view is gorgeous!
Love it Robin...especially the built-ins! You are going to create some amazing garments there!
Looks like a very inviting space to sew! Think of all the wonderful creations that will come out of there.:)
