Blogging Lite

Oh I was so sick for a few days. It was a virus or maybe the flu - a real humdinger. I feel totally well now and boy do I appreciate feeling fine!
I did manage a little sewing on the side and here's where I stand on my coat. The lining is mostly in and I have hand-sewing to finish up.
My buttons, aren't they cute? I love them!
Have a healthy weekend and happy sewing!

  5. Maybe you posted it already and I missed it...but where did that jacket fabric come from? It sure looks like some that I looked at over and over and now a) can't remember where I saw it, b) is probably sold out anyway and c)I've spent all my fabric acquisition allotment for the next 4 months already, so I'm tickled to see someone using it! It's gonna look great!

  6. Lisa, that fabric came from EmmaOneSock. It is (was) the Theory Houndstooth.

I know I looked at it for ages and then she put it on sale. Finally I placed my order and I had bought the last piece! I had wanted a longer coat but this was all she had left.

It is even nicer in person than it looked on the website. It goes with lots of my clothes, too.
Today I did more... it is really close to finished. yay.

  8. Robin I am glad you are feeling better. Your buttons are perfect for your delicious fabric, it almost looks as it there is a herringbone stitch across them.
